ACS T1 Live! Triple Driver In-Ear Monitor
The world’s greatest soft silicone in-ear monitor just got even better
The T1 Live! brings over 2 years of research and development together as the most feature-rich custom in-ear monitor available. With the introduction of a new integrated crossover and a proprietary replaceable cable system, the T1 Live! offers an enviable feature set brought about with meticulous attention to detail and design. Its triple driver configuration brings you broad and rich sound combined with the impeccable fit and comfort created by the discreet soft silicone mould, resulting in an in-ear monitor that feels and sounds completely natural allowing you to control your sound and focus on your performance.
Adding a touch of refinement
The T1 Live! utilises the same three incredible drivers as the T1 offering the largest bass driver in our range alongside mid-range and treble drivers so clear and rich that you can pick out every nuance of your music. The integrated crossover means our engineers have been able to push this combination even further, giving you even more detail whilst retaining all of the body and breadth that you expect resulting in perfect balance and unparalleled depth - whatever it is that you’re listening to.
The same accommodating approach
Just like any ACS product, the T1 Live! is manufactured from soft medical grade silicone, giving you a fit like no other earpiece. We use the softest material in the industry to give you unparalleled isolation in the most demanding environments with a consistent seal at all times and, because your earpiece can flex with your ear as you move or sing, your monitors stay comfortable without fatigue or irritation. In addition to comfort and isolation, using silicone allows us to seal the speakers into the mould and take control of their acoustic environment, meaning that we leave no room for the shape of your ear to affect how your monitors will sound or for your drivers to misbehave, so they sound just as our technicians intended every single time.
So much thought into such a small object
ACS in-ear monitors are designed and produced according to some simple principles that we think help us to focus on what’s important rather than just chasing the pack. Our earpieces are flush and discreet in the ear - we don’t just throw more drivers into the mix in the hope that it will make the monitors sound better, particularly if that means delivering ear shattering volumes. We pay attention to every aspect of the T1 Live!, from the 3.5mm plug right to your eardrum to make sure it’s performing as it should. Based on our proprietary cable design, the Live! Series offers removable cables featuring one of the smallest and most resilient connections around. Keeping the connector as small as possible means that we can keep the cable discreet and mounting the socket right in the silicon means your cables will stay put in performance but come loose if the cable is pulled from the ear, minimising the risk of damage. Not only that, but by simply moving the pins from the plug on the cable to the socket in your monitor we’ve minimised the chances of damage to the cable even when it’s not connected. With the pins in the socket sunk into your earpiece there is no chance of them coming to harm. With no pins at the cable end at all it’ll take a lot more than a size 13 Doc Marten to put you in need of a replacement.
And soon another revolution at ACS takes place...
Every T1 Live! has a pair of built-in, wideband, flat response microphones! Interfacing our new ambient sound processor between the wireless belt pack and your T1 Live! in-ear monitors, will allow you to introduce and adjust your ambient surroundings independently from the mix. Imagine being able to control the outside sound and safely eliminate the isolation experienced by wearing good sealing in-ear monitors.
The Live! series sub-miniature microphones are activated by our ambient processor. Due for release in 2013, this ambient pack will be sold separately, pricing TBC.

ACS IEMS particularly the T1 ambient are perfect for reducing the volume of a live show whilst giving me an accurate, crisp, controlled, punchy mix from the monitor board. The silicon makes them more comfortable to wear over a long period of time as well as helping them to stay in my ears and keep the seal which protects my hearing
Comments from Robbie Barr, a customer who uses the ACS T1 Live!
I've been listening for about four hours now. I had to let you know that they are incredible. The fit is perfect and the sound is incredibly full, yet not too flattering where it isn't needed. Going back to my old In-Ear Monitors sounded like so much was missing in comparison. Thank you so much. I've never dealt with such a professional, courteous company.
Comments from Steven Gascoyne, a customer who uses the ACS T1 Live!
I have owned several pairs of high-end headphones and none have come even close to creating such a wonderfully immersive and complete listening experience as the T1s. The fit and isolation put you in a wonderful sound bubble, where there is just you and the music, with little or no interruption from back-ground sound, even in normally noisy environments. The other thing that has become apparent, is how the T1s remove so many of the factors that normally cloud the music - no room effects from listening to speakers and no reflections or variation from the way you may have positioned your headphone or earphones. With the sound entering directly into your ear canals, it's a completely consistent experience every time.
This perfect physical deliver of sound is then backed up with a balance or 'sound signature' that seems as near to perfect as I can imagine and VERY different to anything else I have heard. In fact it is SO different that I have found myself thinking that everything else I have heard was so wrong that I wish I have discovered ACS years ago. Bass is deep and extended but without any boom or 'bloom' that often goes with low end 'kick'. The mid-range, particularly the all important vocal region, is rich, warm and beautifully natural. So much so that the T1s have had me digging through all my favourite female vocal tracks just to see what they SHOULD sound like.
Last but most definitely not least is the treble. In my view this is the area that can make or break any earphone, headphone or speaker more than any other. Harsh, or splashy and it makes listening fatiguing. Dull or rolled off and music is boring. The trouble is that recordings vary so much that I've never found anything which managed to sound right with everything - apart from the T1s. I don't know how you've managed to do it, perhaps it's a combination of the driver and the silicone material used for the sound tubes, but whatever it is, it works!
The T1s are revealing enough to open up layers of a recording like an onion, showing up subtle little details you have never heard before in tracks that you thought you knew inside-out. Somehow, this wonderful resolution doesn't come at the expense of musicality, so although poor recordings will be shown up as compressed or lacking in depth, they aren't rendered unbearable, just reproduced as well as they can be.
So in summary, the T1s somehow manage to be all things to all men, musical magic bullets, and seemingly, proof that you can actually have your cake and eat it.
Comments from Russ Hollinshead, a customer who uses the ACS T1 Live!
I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much your T1 Lives have transformed my experience when it comes to my performing on stage. Being a sufferer of mild tinnitus that was being further aggravated by my gigging, it's an amazing feeling to finish the gig with my ears not in pain and whistle free. On top of all that, the actual audio that I receive from my monitors is stunning - they offer superb clarity and I am enjoying being able to hear the intricate details that are being played by the rest of the band that were previously undetectable due the sea of mush from the onstage backline, cymbals and drums. Despite not being a particularly loud band, your monitors have now made the whole experience for me an absolute joy. I can't believe how easy it is to sing harmonies and pitch correctly now
I can understand why singers are so keen to hold onto their in-ears! I have to say when I came to your offices, it didn't feel like you were doing the hard sell - it was refreshing that you asked me what I wanted out of IEMs, what I played and then advised appropriately on what you thought would be best for me. I appreciated the time you guys gave me to help me understand how it would all work for me and I have to say, it's rare to be in the position where a product has exceeded my expectations so greatly. I thought they would be great but they are beyond fantastic. I just wish the technology to deliver such a high quality audio feed had been available 10+ years ago - and I'd known more about the whole IEM thing sooner.
Thanks for developing such an awesome product. In a time where everybody is quick to complain, I think that it is only fair that I try and equal the balance and sing praise where it is rightly due. I have been banging on about how great they are to the lead singer who uses off the shelf earbuds in her monitoring system - I think she's going to come and see you very soon.
